This is an exciting opportunity to be in at the beginning of our state-of-the-art hospital in Nottingham. Reporting and deputising for the Head Chef, you will supervise and co-ordinate the day-to-day delivery of high quality food and beverages for patients, staff and other visitors. We’ll look to you to ensure all food is prepared to HACCP and health and safety guidelines. Working and succeeding as part of a team, you will assist with the service of food in the staff restaurant, patient rooms and boardroom and support Baristas in the café.
You’ll come to us with experience of working in a restaurant-style kitchen, including cooking for large numbers of people. It’s likely some of this experience will have taken place in a healthcare environment. Keen to stretch yourself and take guidance from the Head Chef, you will be willing to take charge of your own training and development. The ability to work evenings and weekends on a rota basis will be essential. Above all, you will have a passion for providing excellent customer service.
