We are recruiting for the highly prestigious contract at the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors/Roux at Parliament Square - Michel Roux Jr's 2nd London restaurant and bar in Westminster, which offers fine dining in a spectacular location!

We want to hear from experienced Restaurant General Managers / Venue Managers who are hospitality and events focused individuals, who would like to step into contract catering. If you have experience within Michelin star restaurants or 5 star venues - we want to hear from you!

£50,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience

Monday - Friday only!

Main responsibilities

As General Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operation offering a fine dining restaurant, a small cafe, and managing a full commercial venue operation.

Managing a team of 50+, you will work with the Hospitality & Events Manager & Head Chef to ensure high quality offer is sustained at all times.

You will be responsible for first level HR within team, HSE, managing within defined budget and pushing innovation and ensuring the highest level of food & service. 

Ideal candidate
  • Previous restaurant general management / venue management within 5 star/high end operation
  • Strong knowledge of Food Safety & HSE
  • Passionate about 5 star food and service
  • A track record for managing within budget – great finance and commercial experience is a must
  • Evidence of ability to lead innovation and grow sales
  • Strong people manager
  • Client relationship building high on the agenda
