We currently have an opportunity for an Accountant to join our Chartwells business as a Commercial Accountant at Brunel University.

Main responsibilities

As a Commercial Accountant you will be an integral member of our team, completing monthly accounts and budgets, alongside providing client management information, analysis and commentary. This is an operationally focused Finance opportunity that will see you provide key business insights to the Partnership Director and Senior Leadership Team, where you will drive forward our capabilities, efficiencies and improvements to our way of working.

Ideal candidate

To fit in with us, and for us to be right for you; you will be a high achiever of AAT/graduate calibre or have begun studying towards a professional qualification in either CIMA or ACCA. To be successful within this role, you will have gained experience in month end reporting, the budgeting process and will be confidently able to conduct financial analysis; experience ideally gained within the leisure/hospitality/contract catering industry. 

In addition to this, you will be a fantastic team player and an outstanding communicator who is confidently able to support senior managers.
