Purchasing Manager role overview:

  • The ideal Purchasing Manager will have a passion for providing outstanding guest service and display excellence in personal grooming & presentation
  • As a Purchasing Manager you will oversee a team of Material Officers and Assistants and you will lead, motivate & coordinate the team in order to enhance departmental performance
  • Your role will involve motivating, coaching and training team members as well as managing shifts cover, work-load and resource distribution within team
  • Your responsibilities will include negotiating supply of goods, with existing and prospective suppliers, with particular emphasis on price, quality of goods, efficiency of supply and reduction of the hotels admin burden
  • As part of your role you will manage business area to drive improvement in business costs, quality & internal customer satisfaction
