Commis Sommelier role overview:

  • The ideal Commis Sommelier will have a passion for providing bespoke, professional and outstanding guest service at all times & under pressure while displaying excellence in personal grooming & presentation
  • During service you are responsible for the wine service in a station, while working closely with the Sommelier and the Chef de Rang
  • You will enhance the guest experience by providing exceptional service and be knowledgeable in all aspects of the menu and Alain Ducasse’s philosophy, while sharing it with both guests and other team members
  • As a Commis Sommelier you will need to show genuine care for your guests, while finding out their likes and dislikes and take every opportunity to up-sell in a polite and courteous manner
