Warblington School wishes to appoint an experienced Sous Chef to work in collaboration and consultation with a Head Chef who is overseeing a range of catering outlets within Local Education Establishments.
Our in-house catering service will be moving into a new state of the art kitchen with a newly renovated dining room and the successful candidate will have excellent, proven culinary and communication skills with the motivation and enthusiasm to support our ambition plans.
Reporting to the Resource & Estates Manager you will oversee and manage the preparation, cooking and service of meals to students, staff and visitors and maximise the quality and efficiency of the service whilst maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment at all times.
You will possess a recognised qualification in catering to at least NEBB/C and G708/NVQ food preparation and cooking 1 and 2 or City & Guilds 1 & 2 or equivalent.
The normal working week will average 37 hours, for 52 weeks per year and will include some evening and weekend events. Flexibility within hours worked will be negotiable.
