Fryer’s Garden Centre are seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join the Restaurant team as a Sous Chef.
Fryer’s Garden Centre is situated in the heart of Cheshire, nestled neatly between the picturesque town of Knutsford and the beautiful landscape of Tatton Park.
Refreshments are highly valued in our Rosary Restaurant where you can sample freshly prepared meals made from local produce.
Our busy restaurant, with table service, is looking for a mature and experienced Sous Chef to assist the Head Chef in the safe and efficient preparation and delivery of home cooked meals and snacks.
Duties will include:
- Working with the Head Chef to manage the HACCP documentation in line with Due Diligence legislation
- Leading the wider team and lead by example in all kitchen duties
- Planning and directing food preparation
- Ensuring quality control is maintained in the kitchen
The successful candidate will need to be able to achieve a consistency of service, facilitate the smooth running of the front of house operation and maintain the GP% required whilst managing costs effectively.
