Last year we were awarded the Directors Choice Award and are currently looking for a Head of Hospitality to oversee all conference and events as well as match day hospitality.Package description

As Head of Hospitality, you will report directly into the General Manager to manage all Conference and Events within The Royal Berkshire Conference Centre and Reading Football Club. The Head of Hospitality will oversee a Conference and Events Manager, a Function Manager and two duty Managers. Our event spaces include 26 executive boxes and 11 meeting rooms within our conference centre and events vary from exhibitions through to weddings.
Match day hospitality is varied and is spread across 26 executive boxes offering bespoke menus depending on the event and client. As Head of Hospitality, you will oversee the preparation, logistics, and delivery of all events working closely with a variable team of up to 80. You will, therefore, play a Pivotal role in motivating and leading your team to deliver exceptional results. You will also maintain client relationships to ensure we are true partners.

- Extensive experience in a demanding hospitality environment (essential)
- Complex C&E / F&B management background (essential)
- Passion for food and wine
- Experience of working with a client group (essential)
- High degree of IT proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (essential)
- Ability to lead others
- Engaging, enthusiastic and motivated
- Able to influence and operate at all stakeholder levels
- Experience of suites management/arena/football stadium - Ideal
