Brookwood offers the highest standard of fresh, quality food to pupils across all school ages and genders, whether they are day pupils or boarders. Currently supplying 45,500 fresh meals each school day to over 90 independent schools!

Salary: £15,518 per annum with pay award pending in September 2017

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week working on a rota basis to include alternative Saturday or Sunday

Contract: Permanent, Term time only 36 weeks per year

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in preparation of all foods to ensure that all dishes are presented to the highest standard in terms of colour, content, balance, freshness and flavour. You will also be responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of the kitchen unit in accordance with company standards and statutory requirements and ensure all employees in your direct control adhere to the correct standards of dress and appearance as set out in the Operational Standards.

Experience:

The ideal candidate must have previous experience of working in a restaurant/hospitality/hotel kitchen environment and must hold a Food & Hygiene certificate Level (ideally NVQ 1-2).
