Passion for the events & hospitality industry and seeking an administrative opportunity?

Are you an experienced Administrator who is seeking an exciting and varied position within the events industry? Do you have a passion for working within a fast paced and challenging environment? We currently have an opportunity for a Hospitality Administrator to join our Jockey Club team, to be based at Cheltenham Racecourse on an initial 9 month fixed term contract.  

The Jockey Club is the largest commercial group in British horseracing and Cheltenham is right at the heart of this business, it’s where stars are made and champions forge their reputations and the Hospitality Coordinator will play an integral role coordinating 16 race-days. 

Main responsibilities

As a Hospitality Administrator you will assist in coordinating arrangements for the famous Cheltenham season, including the famous festival in March. This is a varied and challenging role that involves liaising with a range of clients both through various communication channels and also face to face. You will therefore be a confident and engaging individual who also demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will also have good computer literacy and overall office skills.

Ideal candidate

To fit in with us, and for us to be right for you; you will ideally have proven experience within an Administration role and will be an outstanding communicator who is confidently able to assist senior managers. Due to the varied nature of the role, this role is well suited to an individual who is flexible to maintain a presence at Cheltenham on race-days during the Cheltenham season and who is comfortably able to manage multiple work streams.
