A great opportunity has become available for a very experience area manager within the Staffordshire area to oversee up to 20 sites which includes the cleaning and catering contract.

Here at Chartwells – part of the Compass Group family – we are market leaders in the provision of catering, retail, leisure and support services within the education sector. Due to more recent contract successes, we are looking at expanding the management team within Chartwells Secondary & primary schools sector

Package description

£26000 to £30000 plus travel expenses

Mon - Fri, 40 hours per week

Between 8am - 4pm

Must have own transport

Main responsibilities

Now being an Area Manager for Chartwells, is no ordinary role, you will be responsible for deliver success across multiple sites, you will also lead and drive the strategy of growth and development of long term account plans across this new contract

Maintain and develop contract reporting and monitoring to contractual requirements, work closely with the Client to deliver value through improved management of contracts to help drive service excellence and customer advocacy.

Develop budgets and identify areas in which service efficiencies linked to customer satisfaction can be made in the operating costs.

Ideal candidate

On to the interesting part, what we need to see in your application is someone that is an enthusiastic individual who has a drive & passion for leading teams

Excellent understanding of Catering Management, Service level Specification and performance management delivery, excellent financial, commercial, business knowledge and people acumen to support the operational team

Proven track record of leading complex multiple services and delivering growth and success

Excellent people leadership skills, with evidence of the ability to engage and motivate people at all levels, strong customer service ethos.
