The In & Out Club is situated in St. James’s Square having moved from it’s original home in Piccadilly. The Club is one of the oldest in London and was originally from offices of the Royal Navy and British Army. It now is open to civilians as well.

The Club is renowned for its hospitality and service offering some the most delightful and delicious food and wine.

The Club as contracted out it’s catering operation to Ch & Co one of the UK’s largest caterers. You will be under the Ampersand wing of the company.

THE ROLE

The positon is integral to offering fantastic service to the members and their guest’s. The position will take in all aspects of the operation including although not exclusive – banqueting, fine dining restaurant, breakfast as well as the bar. The position requires the successful applicate to work early and late shifts as well as weekends. As it is a 7 day a week operation you will work 5 out of 7 days.

THE PERSON

This person not only needs to have exceptional customer service skills, but attention to detail as well. Offering a friendly warm welcome to all guests. Good knowledge British cuisine would be advantageous, but not a prerequisite. The individual needs to be naturally committed to ensuring that the guest has never had an experience like it. An outgoing and friendly personality is required. The ability to drive standards forward and maintain them will be critical to the success of the role. You will have knowledge of wine ideally although training will be delivered.
