Are you an experienced Administration Manager who is seeking an exciting and varied position within the Food & Beverage industry? Do you have a passion for working within a fast paced and challenging environment? We currently have an opportunity for an Administration Manager to join our Jockey Club Catering team, to be based at Cheltenham Racecourse on an initial 9 month fixed term contract.
The Jockey Club is the largest commercial group in British horseracing and Cheltenham is right at the heart of this business, it’s where stars are made and champions forge their reputations and the Administration Manager will play an integral role in overseeing the Administrative, events and hospitality support encompassing coordinating 16 race-days.Main responsibilities
As an Administration Manager, you will manage a team of administrators to ensure that as a team, you are providing an efficient and effective support service to our operational teams. Your team will be coordinating and planning for the famous Cheltenham season; inclusive of the famous festival in March. You will therefore be a confident and engaging individual who also demonstrates an ability to effectively lead and manage a team to achieve success.

To fit in with us, and for us to be right for you; you will be an experienced Administration Manager, experience ideally gained within an events/hospitality/hotel/F&B environment. You will be an outstanding communicator with the ability to get the best out of your team. You will be able to positively challenge whilst seeking constant ways to drive efficiencies in the way that our team works.
Due to the varied nature of the role, this role is well suited to an individual who is flexible to maintain a presence at Cheltenham on race-days (evenings and weekends) during the Cheltenham season and who is comfortably able to manage multiple work streams.
