We have an opportunity for a Sous chef to come and join the team working in the prestigious Officers’ MessMain responsibilities
As the Sous Chef, you will have a varied role supervising the delivery of the food service provision required, planning food production, processing orders and ensuring that all meals are provided to the required quality standards.Ideal candidate
You will need to have excellent culinary skills, with an attention to detail, and you’ll need to be a team player, ideally with experience of supervising a team in a similar environment. You will need to be qualified to NVQ level 1 / level 2 in food preparation and cooking or equivalent, and be quality driven.
You will need to be able to work 40 hours a week, any 5 days out of 7. Weekend work is on a rota basis, but a requirement for hospitality and functions.
