We are seeking a very experienced catering manager who has the enthusiasm, skills, passion and drive to promote the catering facilities, which include a coffee shop, bar, events and BBQs in their outside area.  The site caters for the students that live in the 32 tower block with amazing views of London,  based in Spitalfields, London. Interested, want more information?  then apply today

Package description

Up to £30k depending on experience

1 month off over Christmas and some days over Summer

5 out of 7 days between 8am - 10pm

Mainly Mon - Fri and day time hours but will be expected to do evenings and weekends

Meals on duty

Will be working for the larges contract catering company in the world

Main responsibilities

To lead the core catering establishment within Uxbridge and Hayes College 

  • Managing a team of up to 10 staff including casual staff
  • Responsible for all the financial aspects of the business
  • Overseeing  multiple catering facilities
  • Training, keeping all personal/training files up to date
  • Motivating staff and getting the best out of your team
  • Build an excellent relationship with the client
  • Adhering the H&S regulations
  • Will also be responsible for the hospitality side of the business
  • Ensure all customer requirements are delivered in line with the expectation
  • Promote business and coming up with ideas on how to increase revenue
Ideal candidate

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in managing  a multi site business, preferably from an events, hospitality or multi site background
  • Sound knowledge of Hygiene, Health and Safety
  • Standards and quality driven management style
  • Motivated by a passion for quality and great service delivery
  • Interpersonal, administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent understanding of P&L accounts
  • Works well under pressure and has an eye for good business opportunities
  • Good management skills
  • Financial and commercial acumen
  • A 'Can do' attitude
