POST TITLE:

Chef Manager

POST REFERENCE:

MBC-CM 0917

SALARY:

£20,475 pa inclusive

HOURS:

37.5 hours per week (The hours required are flexible to

the need of the curriculum, summer school and outside

functions)

LOCATION:

1 x Southgate, 1 x Wood Street, although the post holder may be

may required to work at any of the College’s main sites

Minchenden Business Centre Ltd (MBC) at Barnet Southgate College is currently recruiting a Chef Managers to work as part of our in-house Catering provision for students and staff. The ideal candidate will manage the smooth running of the service by overseeing, preparing and cooking food from the finishing kitchen in addition to managing the team and maintaining high level of hygiene standards.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 2 qualification in Catering and Food Hygiene.  VRQ 2 Professional Chef’s Diploma or NVQ Professional Cookery qualifications are desirable.
