Hillhouse Events Ltd comprises of a luxury country house available for exclusive use and a small family owned country estate. This high quality venue regularly hosts groups of golfers, weddings and special family occasions. A recognised 5 star venue it now requires an experienced General Manager to drive innovation and business growth.
Reporting to the Board you will provide clear direction and leadership of for the management team across catering, housekeeping, gardening and sales and marketing. You will ensure the property is maintained to the highest standards, manage and develop the existing team and take a lead role in developing the business. You will ensure all bookings receive the highest quality service at all times.
You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in general management in the hospitality sector with exposure to exclusive use properties. You will have a strong sales and marketing background. Experience of weddings, events and the provision of high quality food and beverage is also highly desirable. You will be an effective communicator as well as providing energy and enthusiasm to your team.
