We currently have an exciting opportunity for very experienced Catering General Manager to work for the largest contract catering company in the world. The ideal candidate will be managing a large site, in Surrey with the assistance of 12 staff . The General Manager, must have experience within contract catering, preferably within B&I and multi site.  You will have excellent people management skills, have good marketing skills, be able to increase sales and have a very hand on approach. We are seeking a strong leader that can build a good relationship with the staff and to get the best out of each individual.

Package description


  • Mon - Fri, between 7am – 3pm/4pm , 40 hours per week
  • Salary between £26000 to £30000 depending on experience

Main responsibilities
  • Manage a team of up 12 staff
  • Responsible for the training, recruiting and motivating staff
  • Increasing sales and improve the hospitality side of the business
  • Offering excellent customer service
  • Will be responsible for the P&L accounts
  • Managing the labour budget
  • You will also assist in cooking and serving  of meals
  • Must have a very hands on management style
