Restaurant Manager at The Galloping Major
Oddfellows Hotels are independently run and passionately delivered. Named after the band of misfits that was historically the Oddfellows society, we like our team to be as individual as our hotels.
Our employees are the crux of our business. They work and play hard, go more than the extra mile for our guests and understand that the only way to be great in hospitality, is to deliver with enthusiasm and panache. We like hotel experience but ultimately it’s the individual that matters.
In return, employees are looked after really well. We reward them, train them and we let them play a creative role in the way this exciting business is developing
We need a magnificent Restaurant Manager at The Galloping Major.
As our Restaurant Manager, we require an energetic individual to ensure excellent service is delivered consistently, with high standards. You’ll be able to create a wonderful ambience through a passionate and friendly service style. Our outside terrace is in the most glorious setting with views on to Bruntwood Park. The terrace offers a unique experience for all where guests can enjoy cocktails, light bites and afternoon tea.
The Galloping Major is the place to be. We expect experience, skill and panache but we also want to see an enormous passion for restaurants, service and food.
The Restaurant Manager will lead the restaurant team - coaching and mentoring and creating a consistency of outstanding service. This position needs someone who will love working with our guests - exhibiting delight and enthusiasm whist creating and maintaining a unique and wonderful reputation from day one!
In return, we’ll offer you a fun place to work. You’ll become part of the ‘odd’ family and we’ll invest in your training and development.
Oddfellows on The Park is a 22-roomed boutique hotel; home to The Galloping Major restaurant, The Stud Room bar and wonderful events space, which all inhabits the beautifully restored Victorian Bruntwood Hall. Set amongst the 100 acres of Bruntwood Park, Cheadle, it offers a stimulating accessible work environment, close to Manchester city centre and surrounded by nature.
Dramatic by design, it is the only hotel outside London to be welcomed by the global community of hotels, Design Hotels.
