We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced area manager or someone who wants to make their first step into area management.  The area manager will be overseeing 15 sites within the London area, assisting the chef managers from each site to achieve their targets and making sure that each site runs smoothly, offering a great experience to our client and customers.  You will also assist managers to achieve their labour targets and GP. The ideal candidate must be passionate, well organised and have the ability to motivate the team and to get the best out of each staff member. Package description

£18000 - £22500k  plus travel expenses

Mon - Fri, between 7am - 4pm, 37.5  hours per week

Main responsibilities
  • Assist in building strong client relationships across a portfolio of sites in the South West London area
  • Proactively review and improve the services
  • Agree menu selections and ensure local preferences are appropriately catered for
  • Lead your on-site colleagues – making sure they are happy, effective and up to date with relevant training needs
  • Ensure periodic reports are accurate, comprehensive and meet relevant deadlines
Ideal candidate
  • Must be flexible and don't mind travelling
  • People & management skills
  • Experience and have the confidence in overseeing up to 15 sites
  • The ability to guide, mentor and train a team to maximise their potential
  • Experience of conducting structured site visits and liaising with the chef manager and client
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good team player & able to get on with others
  • Ability to communicate clearly face to face with clients & colleagues
  • Good time management skills and know how to prioritise
  • Able to produce accurate work to tight deadlines under pressure
