Head of Catering and Foodservice

Cardiff University are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to lead our Catering and Food Service operations.  This role will have a significant degree of autonomy, and exercise a high level of judgement regarding the operation and development of the catering and food service operation at Cardiff University.  The post holder will provide the leadership and operational management of the service, providing a professional, customer centric, effective and efficient service to all customers.
It is expected that the role holder will facilitate business planning, development, implementation and management of catering activities in all areas of responsibility, including campus cafés and restaurants, residential catering services, delivered food services, event bars and functions & event catering; ensuring an effective high quality production and service is constantly maintained to all customers.  
This is an open ended full time position. The role will require a flexible approach to working hours and will include some out of hours working, including some weekend working.
Salary:  £42,212 - £47,722.
