We have an exciting new opportunity in Milton Hill Conference Centre in Abingdon for an experienced Reservations Manager. This role has now become more of a crucial part of this Unit to be able to grow the venues occupancy and revenue. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to implement the role themselves as it’s a new position so you will be handling the role from the very beginning. The role is Monday-Friday working a shift between 8am-6pm but there may be a need to work evenings and weekends where required.

Main responsibilities

You’ll be focusing on inventory & rate management, proactive selling and effectively converting enquiries into sales. You will be ensuring guests and potential guests receive a polite, professional and efficient service, ensuring all hotel and company standards are maintained and all current legislation is adhered too. You will be managing the venue’s accommodation rates on the direct channels and all 3rd party channels and upsell all hotel facilities when taking bookings.

Ideal candidate
  • Have previous Reservation manager or coordinator experience
  • Literate and fluent in English.
  • Competent in IT (excel, email, word etc.)
  • Great organisational skills
  • Passionate for customer service
  • Must have enthusiastic, can-do attitude
  • Be able to drive as Public Transport is not widely available
  • Be able to manage rates effectively
