We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced chef manager to oversee the staff restaurant within a Tesco store with the assistance of a motivated and experienced team, in East London.  You will be responsible for overseeing the front and back of house within a quiet staff restaurant. Fully responsible for the P&L accounts.

The chef manager is expected to increase the sales with their passion and drive. The chef manager will have excellent people management skills, have a passion for the catering industry, be able to increase sales and get the best out of every member of your team. This is a good opportunity to join the largest contract catering company in the world.

Package description

Between £18000 to £20000 depending on experience

  • Monday to Friday!

Main responsibilities
  • Managing the unit with the assistance of 2 staff members
  • You will mainly be working day time hours
  • Catering for c50 covers per day
  • Offering excellent customer service
  • Training and motivating your team
  • You will also assist in cooking and serving  of meals
  • Adhere to all the H&S and F&H regulations of the unit
  • Making sure you meet your P&L targets
