A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified and passionate Sous Chef, to join our brigade of experienced chefs in Farnham Castle in Surrey. We cater for a number of weddings per year. The Sous Chef will mainly cater for weddings and events. Main responsibilities

The Sous Chef will be working with a highly qualified chef brigade to offer excellent food cooked to very high standards, all from fresh produce. Adhering to company H&S and F&H  standards. The Sous Chef will be expected to cater for up to 120 covers, for either 3 course meals or for banqueting.  

Ideal candidate
  • Be enthusiastic, passionate, hardworking, with a positive attitude
  • Must be craft skilled
  • Experience working in a very busy environment
  • Would prefer someone from a hotel or conference background
  • Very good understanding of H&S and F&H
  • Used to working flexible shifts.
  • Can work well under pressure
  • Takes pride the dishes that they create
  • Working to very high standards
