We have a great opportunity at HMP/YOI Low Newton to join the education team as a Trainer - Hospitality. The hours of the role are 29.6 over 5 days a week, always to include 5 mornings however the 2 afternoons can be flexible to suit.

We have a very exciting role within our team to join as our Hospitality Trainer, as we are expanding our hospitality provision and now seek a tenacious and learner focussed trainer who can deliver front of house training to an NVQ Level 2. Alongside that is the opportunity to really make your mark on the role by designing a community pop up café, which will allow you to show case your training skills and use your creative skills within this forward thinking initiative.

To do this successfully you’ll need to:
• Have experience in your vocational specialism
• Hold an NVQ Level 3 in this vocational area
• Have experience delivering training to a group of learners
• Barista experience preferable
• TAQA qualified to assessor level preferable
• Be willing to gain a PTTLS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy or be willing to commit to gaining these
