Main responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced and talented Chef de Partie to join our team at the Wingfield Cafe & Staff Restaurant at Wimbledon. If you are a dedicated and passionate Commis Chef looking for a step up in your Career this could be the role for you!

You will be required to;

  • To prepare and cook sufficient food to provide the agreed amount of customer choice with minimum wastage
  • To ensure the effective control of a specific station within the kitchen
  • To ensure all food preparation is carried out in accordance with food hygiene procedures
  • To ensure food is prepared to required standards checking for taste, presentation and quality
  • To ensure portion control, preparation and storage methods avoid wastage and keep down costs
Ideal candidate
  • Previously held a Commis Chef Position (minimum 3 years experience) / Chef de Partie Position (minimum 1 year experience)
  • To have experience of previously working as part of a diverse team
  • Worked in a similar background (Sports and Leisure background advantageous)
  • Passionate about food
  • To be available to work as required in this seven day a week operation
