Tired of working weekends, late nights and want more holidays to enjoy a family life?  Then this could be for you. We have great opportunity for a Chef Manager to join our team in one of our education sites, in Stanmore, Middlesex

We are seeking a chef manager who has a passion for food and has excellent culinary skills, who has experience working in a busy environment. You will be managing a motivated and experienced team of 7  cooking food for the pupils and staff. 

The ideal candidate will be excited about cooking delicious, daily meals for up to 1200  children who are currently attending this rapidly growing school.  The ideal person will be a key member of the friendly and supportive school team and will be providing a service that is integral to the happiness and well-being of the children.  The school is looking for a creative and vibrant person who is passionate about interacting with children and supporting their love and enjoyment  of food and healthy eating.  If you want to make a difference to every pupil every day, you will enjoy working at Bentley Wood High.

Package description

You will be working for the largest contract catering company in the world

Mon - Fri, 7am - 3pm, 40  hours per week

Up £25000 per annum

including 10 - 12  weeks holiday, weekends off, no late nights

Main responsibilities
  • Managing a team of 7 staff
  • Catering for midmorning break and lunch
  • You will also be overseeing a pizza pasta bar and Natchos bar
  • All food is cooked from fresh
  • Responsible for the P&L accounts
  • Training and motivating staff
  • Build an excellent relationship with the client
  • Ensure all customer requirements are delivered in line with the expectation
