We are currently seeking an experienced Chef to work in a busy, fast paced hospital environment. This is a seven day operation between the hours of 7:00am-7:00pm.
The successful applicant will work predominantly Monday-Thursday 09:30am-5.30pm with the ability to cover other shifts to meet the needs of the business.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chef to work at Liverpool Heart and Chest- Broadgreen Hospital.
The core hours of work are Monday- Thursday 09:30am-5.30pm with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business.Main responsibilities
You will be expected to prepare and portion all food produced in the production Kitchen for patients. You will ensure all food is stored, handled and packed at the correct temperature and in accordance with food hygiene and handling regulations. You will maintain records of temperatures and apply corrective action where necessary.
You will be able to work to tight deadline to ensure quality food is served on time. You will be confident in dietary requirements and have the ability to plan menus accordingly.Ideal candidate
All candidates require previous experience. Qualification in City and Guilds NVQ Level 2 and basic food hygiene certificate is essential. Previous hospital experience would be advantageous.
You are expected to have a good command of the English language and awareness of both food and personal hygiene standards.
