We currently have an exciting opportunity for a very experienced General Catering Manager to manage the catering facilities in one of our prestigious site, Malvern College, in Worcestershire. Founded in 1865, Malvern is set in a beautiful 250-acre campus; a safe place where we are able to offer an outstanding all-round day and boarding education for pupils aged 3 to 18. With two brand new boarding houses and a state-of-the-art sports complex which were opened by The Duke of York in October 2009.

This is a fixed term contract, with great opportunity of it becoming permanent. Main responsibilities

The general manager will be managing a very large team with the assistance of up to 4 department managers.  You will be responsible for the P&L accounts, building excellent relationships with the clients. The general manager will be expected to work to very high standards; you will support the team in the delivery of excellent customer service, food quality and operational excellence. You will be overseeing this very large contract,   catering for the staff on site, as well as focusing on the hospitality and event side of the business
