We have an exciting role for a Catering Operations Manager to join our team at SSE Arena in Wembley. The SSE Arena, Wembley is London’s iconic concert and events venue offering a great mix of restaurant, lounges and high volume bar and food outlets. As Retail Operations Manager you will assist the General Manager with overseeing four lounges, a 170 cover restaurant and 22 retail bar and food outlets, working closely with clients to ensure the sales are maximized whilst driving innovation and consistency.

Main responsibilities
  • To review business performance and ensure the delivery of key financial and operational targets
  • To support the General Manager in building, leading and managing an effective team.
  • Participate in recruitment to ensure we have people who demonstrate the Levy Restaurants UK vision and values.
  • Support the General Manager to manage all aspects of event labour scheduling and addressing forecast and actual labour spends
  • Support the General Manager to drive spend per transaction values through maximising the sales opportunities that occur within the planning and operation stages of the functions and retail events
  • To keep abreast of new market innovation and the strengths and weaknesses of your competitors
Ideal candidate
  • Extensive Retail Operational knowledge 
  • Extensive experience in a high volume retail environment  
  • Complex retail / F&B management background 
  • Experience of working with a client group
  • High degree of IT proficiency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lead others
  • Engaging, enthusiastic and motivated
  • Able to influence and operate at all stakeholder levels
  • Ability to support and drive change with effective project and stakeholder management skills
