Our services support every aspect of daily community life offshore and in remote locations which are ‘a home away from home’ 365 days a year, 24 hours per day. We provide hot nutritious meals, clean beds, freshly laundered work wear, quality recreation, reception services and heli-deck services to the workforce at these locations which are all essential home comforts.

We support operations in the North Sea and further afield on fixed production platforms, flotels, floating production storage offtake facilities, mobile offshore drilling rigs and construction and pipe-laying barges.

Main responsibilities

As an integral member of the offshore team the successful candidate will organise and supervise the unit as well as being responsible for the overall efficient and effective management of the unit under your control whilst providing a quality service.

The successful candidates will have the responsibility for the preparation, cooking and service of food, laundry, accommodation, and janitorial services to agreed standards and specifications and to ensure the efficient and economic use is made of all resources, including stock, labour and company assets.

 

Ideal candidate

Candidates that wish to apply, will need to have a proven track record of working as a chef manager within an offshore environment, this could have been within the North Sea or further afield.  You will also be required to have a real passion for food along with excellent client relationship, people management and communication skills.

You will also need to have the following essential certification:

  • BOSIET/FOET;
  • CAA-EBS;
  • BI-Deltoid;
  • MIST;
  • City & Guilds 706/1, 706/2 or equivalent; and
  • OGUK Food Handlers Medical.
