Back of House steward Manager

Salary £29,650 rising to £32,890 after three months

Our client is a traditional and deluxe private members club based in the West End. They provide a fine choice of restaurants and bars, accommodation, private dining and sporting facilities. We are seeking an exceptional Back of House steward Manager . This is an exciting role for a talented individual who is looking for a new challenge and wants to join a fast paced and high performing private members club team renowned for their approach and delivery of unparalleled service.

The operating hours are 7 days a week with your working hours being 5 days out of 7 which will include some weekends mainly working straight shifts either 7am-3pm or 1pm-9pm.

You will be responsible for the daily operation of the back of house and for supporting the Food and Beverage departments, working closely with the head chef and Food and F&B manager to ensure the departments run smoothly.

This role includes duties such as managing the kitchen stewarding side of the operation with a team of 30, responsible for controlling budgets alongside the Food and Beverage departments, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and hygiene in all back of house areas, managing agencies and contractors, budget/expenditure/forecasting management, accident/incident reporting, holding regular meetings with the night cleaners (daytime) and you will also be responsible for two supervisors and a team of 4 that service the staff restaurant.
