We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced General Manager to join one of highly regarded clients based in Edinburgh.
This is an opportunity for a hands on Manager who is passionate about developing their people and delivering exceptional food as well as great service to their clients.
As the General Manager you will be fully accountable for managing the day to day catering and hospitality of the site.
You will have previous experience managing a large and busy unit, P&L account developing and training team members, as well as developing great relationships with the client. If this sounds like you then we would love to hear from you!!Package description
Paying up to £40,000 dependent on experienceMain responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include full oversight of the catering operation including employee dining and hospitality. You will need to be innovative and creative whilst being commercially driven. Being a self-proclaimed foodie, you will manage the staff to ensure a smooth and successful service is run daily.
As the General Manager we will require you to develop and build a strong relationship with the client as well as being the front of house manager to the colleagues, driving the standards and develop our food offering.Ideal candidate
Must have proven catering management experience, whether in an Operations Management role or a Group Management position
Working within or previous within hospitality would be desirable
Be self-motivated and show the ability to work in a pressurised commercial, customer facing environment
Confident people leadership skills
Excellent customer presentational ability, both verbal and written.
Branded retail experience would be a distinct advantage
