Duties & Responsibilities
To create cookware, dining and food related ‘theatre’, experiences and events in our Branches. You will act as part branch team with your Specialist focus, driving successful achievement of the Retail shop KPIs, in particular increased sales in Cookware.
You will be customer facing, planning your own and running a programme of events set by Head Office which you will deliver yourself and with the assistance of third party suppliers. These events will run during our busiest trading periods to attract customers and provide experiential events that engage and drive sales performance. Other elements will run as part of local initiatives or wider programmes such as My John Lewis events, collaboration with Waitrose and seasonal marketing campaigns. In addition to events, you will offer our customers a cookware advice service either by appointment or adhoc.
You will operate as part of a wider team and contribute to the success of the Branch. You will act in a pivotal role in of our move towards more experiential shopping experiences.
You will act as an ambassador for the John Lewis brand, playing your part in delivering outstanding service through exceptional communication and engagement with our customers.
Delivers a seamless and personalised service experience that exceeds the customer’s expectation while supporting the delivery of sales and profit growth.
Plans and executes events and liaises with buying office and third party suppliers to deliver an inspiring and engaging programme of activities
Taking part in and leading customer reviews to drive continual improvement through engagement of the branch leadership team and central stakeholders
Partner. Demonstrates passion for the Partnership, it’s brands, products and services. Demonstrates flexibly to meet the needs of the branch and customers.
Meets or exceed targets for Cookware sales.
Manages relationships with all relevant 3rd parties to enhance JL brand proposition and maximise sales.
