We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager for our newly refurbish restaurant in central London. The role will be focussed on managing and developing the team. You will be driving business growth through increasing sales and driving spends per head while looking at ways to increase covers. We are looking for a bright, innovative self starter, someone with ideas and enthusiasm to help drive the business forward.

Package description

£22,000 per annum + tronc

40 hours per week across 5 days

Main responsibilities
  • Responsible for the successful day to day management of the of the restaurant
  • Manage, coach, guide & develop the front of house team
  • Continuously delivering great customer service & speed of service
  • Up selling techniques to increase SPH
  • Writing and implementing SOP
  • Meeting KPI goals
  • Management and motivation of staff
  • Hands on approach is essential
Ideal candidate
  • Waitressing skills
  • Customer experience qualification
  •  Strong knowledge of budgeting and GP levels
  • Good understand of labour management
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety/Basic Food Hygiene qualification
  • Good knowledge of food and wine
  • Running events
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory or  management experience in a busy high profile restaurant environment
  • Experience in leading & managing a team of 10-20 peoples
  • Be a people person with a passion for delivering great  food & great service
  • A background in a quality customer service
  • Good communication skills
