We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Catering Manager to join one of our prestigious contracts based in Thatcham.

As the Catering Manager, you will be fully responsible for the management of our clients Distribution Centre in Thatcham. You will be delivering staff catering for up to 300 people on a daily basis, this will fluctuate during busier times throughout the year.

You will be a Catering Manager who is a real foodie and enjoys developing a building relationships with your team and clients, customer service is key for us and you will be someone who can lead your team to deliver exceptional service.

Main responsibilities

As the Catering Manager you will lead and manage a team of 6 with the appropriate skills to deliver a profitable store and ensure all budget targets and KPI’s are not just achieved but exceeded. Ambitious and commercially aware, with the presence and personality to influence the day to day business, you'll maximise the performance of your team. Leading by example and setting high standards, you'll enhance sales and provide our customers with great service.

Ideal candidate
  • Previous experience working as a Catering Manager or Restaurant Manager
  • Ideally someone who has worked within a high street or contract catering environment
  • Retail and commercial skills are a must
  • Financial awareness to complete weekly business returns
  • Motivated to deliver consistent high standards of food and service quality
  • Friendly and approachable, with the management skills to develop and manage a team
