The Roehampton Club is an exclusive private members’ sports club in Roehampton in southwest London. It is set in 100 acres of parkland, close to Richmond Park where Levy Leisure are looking to recruit their onsite General Manager to oversee all catering and hospitality requirements. 

We want to hear from experienced General Managers who are passionate about high end corporate hospitality, events and catering. If you have experience within prestigious venues/contracts or private members clubs - we want to hear from you!

Main responsibilities

As General Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operation of the private members' sports club, which has 3000 members to date. The venue offers a Juice Bar, Club Café, Members Bar and extensive events and functions all year round.

Managing a team of 40+, you will work with the Hospitality & Events Manager & Head Chef to ensure high quality offer is sustained at all times.

You will be responsible for first level HR within team, HSE, managing within defined budget and pushing innovation and ensuring the highest level of food & service. 

 

Ideal candidate
  • Previous restaurant general management / venue management within 5 star/high end operation
  • Strong knowledge of Food Safety & HSE
  • Passionate about 5 star food and service
  • A track record for managing within budget – great finance and commercial experience is a must
  • Evidence of ability to lead innovation and grow sales
  • Strong people manager
  • Client relationship building high on the agenda
