We are looking for an ICT Technician to join a team providing first line of support for PC and Windows users in a busy IT network environment.

Main responsibilities
  • 1st line IT support (including AV equipment).
  • Provide support for onsite and remote support to end-users, printers, scanners, projectors and other peripheral equipment.
  • Be responsible for an efficient IT consumables stock control system and associated records.
  • Provide application and networking support for Windows PCs.
  • Basic user administration for Windows Active Directory, Exchange, monitoring tools, etc.
  • Assembly, installation and deployment of PCs and user hardware.
  • IT Asset maintenance and new starter assistance.
  • In-person assistance / troubleshoot of classroom technologies, Cashless registers, Biometrics, etc.
  • Respond to assigned tickets/tasks in accordance with SLA guidelines.
  • Maintain up-to-date IT inventory, Routine site wide vandalism check and fix which includes network cable/socket repair.
  • Perform hands-on fixes at desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications.
  • Assembly, installation and deployment of PCs and user hardware.
  • Work with senior members of the team, and increase skill set.
Ideal candidate
  • Previous experience in a desktop support role (ideally in schools).
  • Virtualisation Experience (Hyper-V), but not essential.
  • Microsoft certification eg: MCSA in support related technologies preferable.
  • DBS Check is a mandatory.
