Are you used to working with a wide range of clients from varied backgrounds?
We require an experience Sous Chef / Senior Cook to join our vibrant Catering Team. The successful candidate will have excellent all-round experience in the preparation of high quality meals for a large volume, in a fast-paced environment. You will have experience of preparing balanced menus, taking into account the dietary needs of children from varied cultural and religious backgrounds. You will need to have all-round catering experience including the ability to, but not exclusively to, produce fresh pastry and puddings to a high standard.
This is a permanent, term time plus 4 weeks post with a requirement to work the additional 4 weeks during Easter and Summer holidays. Current shifts are 11.00am – 7.30pm weekdays, 10.00am – 7.30pm weekends. However, flexibility is required, ie end of term and exeat weekends, or to cover sickness etc. There may, with prior agreement, be a need to work the occasional late evening to cover school functions.
Lunch is provided by the school for its employees when they are on duty. The successful candidate can also make use of our superb fitness suite for free.
