We are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef to work within our fast paced and ever changing business. As Sous Chef, you will work closely with our Head Chef to provide quality hospitality. Our events are varied and can include small fine dining dinners through to large events. You will have a strong background in conference and events whilst also understand local trends in order to drive our retail offers.

Main responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef with the running of the culinary function,
  • Deliver health and safety, food hygiene ensuring correct procedures are followed regarding checking, recording of food monitoring and food hygiene standards,
  • Stock taking, stock control and ordering,
  • Menu planning, ensuring costs are kept in line with agreed budgets,
  • Recording and monitoring wastage
  • Working in a team, successfully managing a varied team of chefs and porters, working closely front of house staff.
