An exciting opportunity to join our talented Hotel Services Team has become available at a prestigious private healthcare hospital in Central London (Baker Street). We are currently recruiting for an Administrator to help maintain our records and systems within the Catering and Housekeeping Teams.

This role is ideal for an organised individual with a caring nature and outgoing personality. This a full-time role based in the Hotel Service Management office within the hospital. Working pattern is office hours (37.5 hours a week).

Main responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining systems and records for the Catering & Housekeeping Teams.

  • Cash handling - taking a lead for cash purchases within the department (cash-up & banking).
  • Data entry of weekly finance & payroll records.
  • Managing accounts and invoices.
  • Managing HR records and taking a lead for HR compliance.
  • Ordering of consumables and stationary.
  • First point of contact for calls and messages coming in to the department.
Ideal candidate
  • Strong communication skills (first point of contact for messages and daily liaising with Managers and all team members within the Hotel Services Team).
  • Awareness of health & safety standards.
  • Able to work under pressure, individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced healthcare environment and has a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business.
  • Previous administration experience and knowledge is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
  • Be aware that this is a hospital environment and at times you will come in contact with patients that are particularly unwell or showing signs of distress.
  • Must have a 'Can do' attitude.
