We are looking for an experience and passionate sous chef to join our team at The George Payne pub in Hove.
Our head chef produces high standard pub food and is looking for someone to work alongside him with the same passion and produce food to the same standard on his days off.
You will be responsible for the running of our busy kitchen in the head chef’s absence. We are looking for someone organised, with plenty of experience who is able to work on their own initiative, work well under pressure and give clear direction to other in the team.
Our menu is based around superb pub food, making the best of fresh, seasonal ingredients. We have a daily menu but keep things interesting by offering a range of daily specials. This is a challenging yet exciting venture for the right person.
You need to be able to produce & present dishes to meet the required standard. To assist with managing & maintaining stock & storage. To ensure your work area is kept clean & tidy at all times, ensuring Health & Safety standards are adhered to.
We can offer you a salary of £24,000 a year, share of tips, 28 days holiday, flexible working hours, 2 clear days off, a positive and friendly work environment.
