Our client is looking for an experienced Head Chef to work within this brand new restaurant and prestigious private events business, due to open this summer. It is set in 60 acres of a stunning private estate, in the heart of Shropshire.

This is a family-run business who would like you to become part of the 'family'. Their vision is to grow rapidly over the next five years. They have 260 lanes of vineyard and produce their own wine which will be all part of the dining experience.

This is an amazing opportunity to be part of something really special and to help create an innovative, unique and desirable dining experience in a beautiful environment. You will be show-casing thoughtful cuisine executed with flair, styled around sharing plates brought together from around the world. Your experience will be to help provide an international food offer to the restaurant and the events and weddings business. You will have extensive knowledge and experience of all-day dining. Guests can enjoy sipping home grown wine from the vineyards and food grown from its own kitchen garden.

You'll have the opportunity to work in a brand new bespoke kitchen which has been specially designed and equipped with all the latest equipment. Your team of chefs will be interacting with the guests out on the terrace, cooking over amazing charcoals. There is also a state of the art pizza oven that cooks 8 pizzas a minute. You will be using only the finest of meats and produce available and free to use suppliers of your choice to source the finest meats, seafood and all other food ingredients.

You will be responsible for selecting your own team, engaging with suppliers, menu planning, food design, costings and budgets in readiness for the grand opening this August. You will work closely with the venue general manager, restaurant manager, gardeners, vineyard and events management team.

Key requirements and experience of the role include:

An international chef's background with experience of working overseas is essential

Some experience of working in known establishments that provide high-end cuisine would be ideal

Wedding and private estate events experience would be advantageous

An understanding of all-day dining, sharing plates, tapas, authentic Asian and international dining

A willingness to take advice, listen and work with the team to make the business a success

Take pride in producing the highest standards of food

Hungry to grow into a consultative development role in the future.
