The University of Lincoln Students' Union

The Students’ Union is an independent body affiliated to the National Union of Students and supports students in both academic and non-academic experiences; whilst working closely with the University and local community. Student leaders are elected by students, and supported by the staff’s expertise delivering services and represent student needs.

The Bar Manager Position

The Bar Manager will be responsible for the effective operation and day-to-day running of the Students' Union Commercial venues; Tower Bar and Engine Shed Nightclub.

Key Responsibilities Include

- assisting the Venue Manager in developing a strong team and building effective communication across staff
- to be responsible for the security of customers, staff and the building during Tower Bar duty management shifts
- to follow all necessary procedures to ensure safety of stock; e.g. taking deliveries, stock transfers and stock rotation
- ensure that all staff deliver exceptional customer care and receive regular training in customer service in liaison with the Venue Manager

Starting salary is £22,876 on a 37 hour per week, permanent contract.

We also operate reduced hours over the Easter, Summer and Christmas period.
