Main responsibilities

As Head of the Sales and Events for the catering team you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic sales and marketing plan to drive revenue.  You will raise the profile of the Food and Beverage offering across all clients and develop strong working relationships with key accounts.

You will also manage the proposal procedure at a senior level with the venue management team where appropriate, ensuring commercially sound, competitive and profitable financial deals for the business.

Ideal candidate

To be right for us, you will have a passion for the food, beverage and service industry with previous experience in both a sales and event management environment. This person needs to be highly organised with a flexible approach and “can-do” attitude. You will be commercially minded with experience of managing a team in a similar environment. You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
