A vacancy has arisen within the Cleaning Department for a Helpdesk Operator to deliver a consistently high level of service and support to our departments on the site. You will be working alongside the client's helpdesk to assign and sign off cleaning work across this large site. The client is a very high profile government building. You will be working Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week with a shift assigned between the hours of 8am  and 6pm.

Package description
  • £23,500 per annum, 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday-Friday - 8am-4:30pm or 9:30am-6pm

Main responsibilities
  • Scheduling assignments to the cleaning teams 
  • Receiving some calls relating to cleaning assignments across the site
  • Liaising with the Cleaning Managers and supervisors of new and active assignment
  • Updating the assignments on the helpdesk system
  • Advise the managers and the team leaders of priority assignments
  • Sign off completed assignments on the system
  • Check some of the work completed on site to be able to sign the assignment off as completed
  • To chase and manage outstanding works, to ensure that they are completed within the designated time, or escalate as required
Ideal candidate
  • Have excellent communication skills and to be computer literate including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Have previous experience working on a helpdesk and using a helpdesk system (such as 'Concept')
  • Have the ability to build relationships with the facilities team
  • Have great organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Have the ability to prioritise work and to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Are team players with good people skills
