Customer Services Receptionist (Part Time)
Queen’s University offers sought after venues for pre-dinner receptions, formal dinner events and catering for meetings and conferences.
The Great Hall, housed within the distinctive Lanyon Building, has developed an enviable reputation for weddings in one of the most unique venues in Northern Ireland.
It is complimented by the Black and White Hall, Canada Room, Council Chamber and Naughton Gallery all of which can be utilised for pre-dinner receptions. The Old Staff Common Room, The Sir William Whitla Hall and Riddel Hall are self-contained venues suitable for meetings, conferences, lunch and dinner.
As part of the Campus Food and Drink Unit, this 31.8 hours per week (0.86 FTE), one year post will primarily be based at the picturesque Riddel Hall Building on Stranmillis Road. The post holder will provide high quality and consistent ‘first contact’ customer service experience to internal and external customers of Riddel Hall.
The post holder will possess up to date knowledge of IT systems and have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

The successful candidate must have:
A minimum of 5 GCSEs level (A-C) including Maths and English Language or NVQ L2 Administration
Minimum of six months relevant reception experience

Salary scale: £15,721 - £16,654 per annum (potential to progress to £17,326 per annum through sustained exceptional contribution)
