City centre hospitality department, looking for talented and enthusiastic hospitality supervisor.  Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm. Working closely with the Food Services Manager you will be responsible for the supervision of a small hospitality department with specific emphasis on the running of all fine dining. There will be evening functions thus flexibility on core hours will be essential.   

Main responsibilities

To supervise the hospitality department on a day to day basis making sure the highest standards of customer service are delivered, ensuring a smooth service and consistency. To adhere to legislation concerning all aspects of food, hygiene, health and safety. To achieve all set targets, both financial and operational. To maintain good client relations.

Ideal candidate

Small friendly team and ideal opportunity for someone who wants to develop. 

Hands on role, previous hospitality experience essential

Supporting the Food Services Manager with departmental administration

Sound awareness of health & safety and food safety legislation

An eye for detail

The delivery of consistent high quality hospitality service

Basic Food Hygiene certificate

Highly polished and professional image

Self-motivated and the ability to work in a pressurised environment

Be a Team player and very reliable

A 'Can-do' attitude towards individual customer requests and strive to exceed customer expectations

Good communication skills and ability to multi task
