Chef de Partie - 2 Rosette
Amazing 4 Star Hotel Restaurant in the heart of the New Forest , looking for a permanent Chef de Partie to join their award winning 2 rosette team, assisting with their daily and Seasonally changing fresh food menu.
The Hotel has 54 bedrooms, and multiple function rooms, set in an area of natural beauty and unique landscape, with a restaurant that offers modern award-winning cuisine, using fresh and locally source food products and seasonal ingredients.
The award-winning kitchen team comprises of 10 Chefs and a Breakfast Chef, so you are expected to join an established team, bringing a can-do attitude, as well as a desire to lean and develop a long-term career within high quality fresh food dining.
Access to all of the leisure facilities available on site, as well as having the option for Live In accommodation if it’s required and available.
As a valuable and contributing member of the award-winning kitchen team, you will be expected to work up to 50 hours per week.
Key Features of the Role:
You will carry out the daily duties and responsibilities required by a full-time permanent Chef de Partie.
You will be expected to support a working environment which promotes a positive attitude, pride and good morale, whilst ensuring high standards of quality control, handling and storage of commodities to current legislation.
Using your knowledge of Health and Safety regulations on a daily basis.
Weekend and Bank Holiday work will be required as part of a fairly distributed Rota system, as the Hotel has seasonal busy peaks, (a mixture of straight and split shifts).
Knowledge and Skills:
You will be an accomplished Chef de Partie
You must be enthusiastic and willing to learn.
Preferably you will have some level of catering qualification.
You must have previous skills, knowledge and experience in a kitchen environment as a Chef or Cook is essential, at Commis Chef, Chef de Partie level or similar.
Own transport is a massive bonus due to Hotel location.
What’s on Offer?
In addition to working in a 2-rosette kitchen, you will receive a basic salary of £22,000 per annum, paid monthly plus tips.
Full induction and on-going training given to all new starters.
Meals on duty.

Statutory 28 days holiday.
Use of leisure facilities after 6 months of continuous service.
Highly desirable mixture of straight and split shifts to meet the needs of the business.
Live in option available.
Accessible via public transport.
