Hospitality & Events Supervisor (The University Of Oxford)
We are looking for an experienced Hospitality Supervisor to join the University of Oxford hospitality team, you will run events across campus and lead a team of staff to deliver service excellence. Reporting to the Hospitality Managers, you will be responsible for the smooth running of daily hospitality events, client and team communication.
This is a fast paced environment, you will need to have good attention to detail and be able to multi task and prioritise effectively. We are looking for a friendly person with a positive attitude who can lead by example.Main responsibilities
-Arrange the delivery of strong, high quality hospitality events, whilst motivating a team of casual staff.
-Act as a point of contact as required to help ensure successful delivery of the hospitality events programme, in partnership with the University Marketing and Facilities teams.
-Working with the Front of House staff, to deliver consistently excellent customer services for all Compass Group’s Hospitality activities.
-Handling face to face enquiries from The University of Oxford’s event’s teams and clients for hospitality.
-Liaison with Building facilities staff to ensure timely and correct set up and delivery of operation aspects of events.
-Provide on-site management to ensure the correct delivery of events.
-You will have strong skills in organising and delivering successful events. An understanding of how these functions contribute to the realisation of business targets.
-Computer literate with excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
-Strong interpersonal skills, organisational skills and leadership skills.
- Previous events or hotel/hospitality experience
